Step 1) first of all you’ll have to download and install VM Ware. You can download it from here.
Step 3) Now we have downloaded everything needed. Now open your VM ware and create a new virtual machine.
Step 4) After that a new wizard opens, there select “Installer Disc Image File (ISO) “. Then browse and select the ISO file, that we downloaded in Step 2. And then go Next.
Step 5) After this a new wizard pops-out. Here we must select Linux And Select “ Other Linux 3.x kernel 64-bit“.
Step 6) Now simply click next and If you want you can change the name of your Virtual Machine.
Step 7) Here you have to careful.
If you want to install Kali Linux permanently than you have to keep the “Maximum Disk Size” above 20GB (My own experience).
But if you are just doing to test it out One time, Than you can keep it as it is.
And select “Store virtual disk as a Single File“. By doing this your Virtual machine will work fast without lag.
For now, I am keeping it as it is.
And then click Next. And a new wizard pops-out.
Step 8) Before finishing we have one more thing to do.
Click on “Customize Hardware”
Then a new wizard pops-up, There You Just have to increase the Ram of the Virtual machine.
I have 4 GB of RAM in my PC so I can take up to 2 GB of ram.
Now click on Close, And then click on Finish.
Step 9)Now we have created our virtual machine. Now Click on that virtual Machine and click “Play Virtual machine“.
Step 10) Now the virtual machine will boot up.
If you want to use it just once then you can go for “Live USB Persistence“. Or if you want to install it permanently then go for “Graphical Install“.
if you go for “Graphical Install” then it’s going to take more than 15 minutes.
After you Install it, your Username will be Root and password You have to set-up while installing.
After Installing and Booting Up, The Desktop will look like this.
