PUBG or PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole.In India, it has certainly become a very popular mobile game recently, with increasing popularity many rumors have spread through as well. Among them is PUBG getting banned by Bombay High Court. While some of the colleges have banned this game, news of PUBG getting banned by Bombay High Court is fake.

According to the reports on some sites, a fake notice claiming that PUBG is being banned by Bombay High Court is circulating across many social media platforms like Facebook etc. One of the reasons for this ban is alleged because PUBG is creating a lot of trouble and also spoiling their time and career as well. However, the notice contains a lot of grammatically wrong sentences as well as states completely incorrect information. Tencent games are yet to issue an official statement on this matter.

 Despite that, PUBG MOBILE’s popularity has been increasing at a drastic rate. The company has recently announced that PUBG MOBILE’s being used by 30 million players daily. The game was also awarded as the most popular game on the Google PlayStore this year. It was also chosen by the jury as the best game on Android in 2018.
