Step 1: Go to BookMyShow website

Open your browser and type and click enter to open BookMyShow website on your preferred browser.

Step 2: Choose Your Location

On the BookMyShow website you need to choose the city/location you belong to. BookMyShow need this information to show you the nearest cinema halls and their showtimes for a particular movie.

Step 3: Choose the Movie

After selecting your city, the website will show you the movies shows that are going on in the nearest cinema halls. Now choose the movie by searching in the search bar or choose one from the recommendation that you want to watch.

Step 4: Click on Tickets and Choose Date

When you choose a particular movie, then it will show a button says tickets, click on that and then you’ll be prompted to choose the date when you want to watch the movie.

Step 5: Choose a particular Movie Theater

After selecting the date, you’ll be given a list of available theaters near to you that are available for that particular movie. Choose any of the theatre based on your convenience and ratings.

Step 6: Choose the Showtime and Number of Tickets

After selecting the theaters, it will show you the showtimes available in a particular theater, choose a showtime according to your comfort. After selecting showtime choose the number of tickets you want to buy.

Step 7: Select the Seats

Seats in the theatre are marked with particular alphanumeric combination and are categorized in Normal, VIP etc. Prices vary according to the category of seat you’ve chosen.

Steps 8: Proceed to Payment

If your theatre is a F&B hall then you can also order your Food Combo while booking for ticket. After booking proceed to payment and while paying for the ticket it will ask you that which type of ticket you want. You can choose from “M-Ticket” or “Box Office Pickup”. I would recommend you to choose M-Ticket as it is very feasible.

You can pay for the ticket with many payment options like UPI, Paytm, Debit Card, Credit Card and Online Banking.

After successful payment for the ticket you’ll receive a confirmation mail from BookMyShow which confirms that you Book A Movie Ticket.

Important : Please take a screenshot or download ticket as PDF because when you go to the Movie hall, you’ll need to show the Bar/QR code while entering the hall.
